    Default Tonka toy operating

I have a job coming up this week that should be as productive as paint drying on a 0* day. I have to rent the smallest mini excavator that Cat makes because of the narrow door opening inside the building, a 300.9, weighs app. a ton. I have to expose a bunch of sanitary lines for my plumber and trench for new ones. I saw lots of nasty small boulders inside the freshly cut out concrete floor. Should be fun, NOT. They better have a huge fan for venting, sure they do as this is at a major college by me.

You're gonna be sore after getting pounded around by that little thing, but at least you get to run a nice machine for a change

There's NOTHING nice about the nonexistant comfort levels in a putty cat.

Years ago I ran even a smaller mini under a cabin at our Scout camp in the middle of the night. I had a hardhat on because my head was between floor joists, I kid you not. Fun night.

Did Wayne do something to the so called excavator?
If he tipped her over we need the pick as well.
    Oh sure you're street smart.

Not stupid at all Palmer. VERY surprisingly it has backhoe controls with only a changeover on the turntable with your right foot if you elect that option. What's REALLY stupid is the placement of the short travel levers up high on this control module. No foot elect travel pedals--meaning when dozing you need your left hand to operate both travel levers simultanously while your right runs the dozer lever.Very awkward. So if you get this puppy stuck, it would be impossible to use your travel and run the stick at the same time. It's getting the job done, jerky and slow movements but nothing else will fit through a 38" door.

Yes sir, we were also noticing that from the demo gang who sawed/hammered out the concrete. There is I beams inside those columns though. The new floor will make it sound of course again.

Does that thing run on LP or do they put a small diesel in them? I'm thinking LP to cut down on smelly exhaust fumes...?
